DIY Word Work Paint Bags

Fun word work paint bags

Love using paint in the classroom, but hate the mess. Paint bags are a simple solution.

I love using paint bags in my class. I find they work best with small groups under supervision. All you need to do is put a small amount of thick finger paint in each bag, and zip them up. I like to staple mine shut on the top to prevent kids from trying to opening them back up. Then they can use their finger or a cotton swab to practice writing letters, or short sight words.

What other ways do you like to use paint in your classroom?

As always, happy teaching!
