One thing I have learned is that Unifix cubes are for more than just math!
I like to use Unifix cubes to practice building CVC words in English and double syllable words in Spanish. If you’re making CVC words, you can use the blue cubes for consonants and the red cubes for vowels. If you’re short on Unifix cubes, this also works well with Legos. I often find them cheap at garage sales in the summer.
What other ways do you like to use Unifix cubes to support hands-on learning?
As always, happy teaching!
